Having worked for Ralliart Australia Shane Jones built group A to group N Mitsubishi Evo’s for international teams. He then moved to the UK where he worked for Ralliart UK. While in the UK he worked on EVO models 3, 4, 5, 6 and the first WRC car (EVO7) shape which was driven by Tommi Makinen who won 4 world championships while Shane was there. Shane returned to Australia and worked with Ralliart Australia to build cars for Ed Ordinnki/Spencer Lounds.

Shane eventually moved back home to Bathurst where Jones Automotive Performance Vehicles was started.
